Quick, pointless doodle done to de-stress from the last few months.

I didn't think too much about it nor did I even try to put effort into it.

I met Mr. Bell!

So, I am a horrible person and forgot to share the story of me meeting Michael Bell at Retro Con (PA) back on Saturday. This will basically be a repost from the original I made for Reddit: Reddit link for more info in the comments can be found HERE[X]

I of course, got there as he was on lunch. Mild around for about 45 minutes and then finally got to meet him. He was charging for photos, so unfortunately, I was sneaky with the photos I took. He was mostly selling selfies, but I didn’t want to impose too much, anxiety is a b*t h. As well as his handler/agent was a little intimidating so I wanted to keep the interaction as professional as possible.

I had brought my full-scale reaver prop with me and he had asked if it was Skeletor. I laughed and said “No Michael, it’s the soul reaver!” which he laughed as well stating that "he had never seen it before" (which leads back to him literally never finishing playing SoulReaver 20+ years ago) I had also brought him gift art, one of the art pieces being from @laura-panico, and had printed out a few little “love letters” from fans I personally know to let him know how much he’s loved. He was very sweet and loved the gifts I had given him.

And here we come to the meat of the post: News! He had confirmed with me that Crystal Dynamics reached out to him to continue the series! I kept my composure, told him that’s wonderful news, wished him all the luck, and I hope that he reaches back out to them about making it so.

And so I finally redesigned part of the final battle of soul reaver 1. Let it be the reboot I wanted to see).

The main problem was how much time it would take to do a bunch of quality close-up frames, with an unclear outcome.

But the drawings are good) So I added a rough storyboard and a map with explanations) Even the storyboard needs a lot for this battle, so it's not all here). Some picture quality may be lost. You already know all the dialogs better than I do :D

Just a what if Acylius

(a character I'll just put into any universe now because reasons and he does have a humanoid form)

Had been lounging in the Lake of the dead

And rescued Raziel, Acylius is also a Legion demon but not in the sense of biblical terms, extremely powerful but also not invincible, after all, immortal does not equate invincible.

Anyway back to the work at hand, this took two weeks and no the water marks will not be removed , I've had work stolen and reposted before, so no just no.

Raziel is absolutely one of my favourites, if he wasn't you think I'd spend two weeks on a comic like this ha ha.....no I'm too tired to even usually draw like this, it's taken me a few weeks to finally decide to post this.
